Embers, Leaves, & Lines
A literary experience designed to transform reading into an immersive evening. Each event combined books, local businesses, interactive activities, and designed environments to create memorable guest experiences beyond a traditional author event or book club.
The Opportunity
The Challenge
1
Traditional author events often center around book sales or signings. I saw an opportunity to create an immersive experience where every detail, from décor to activities to food supported a single theme, while promoting local authors & businesses.
My Vision
2
Rather than hosting another market or book signing, I wanted guests to feel like they had stepped inside a story. Each event was intentionally designed around a seasonal theme, encouraging guests to slow down, interact, create, and connect with one another.

The Impact
“A month ago today I lost my mom, a week before that I lost my dad, a month before that my parent’s house burned down. My daughter and I have been dreading this weekend being the anniversary of losing my mom. With this event you turned what would have been a horrible & emotional day, into a day that will now be a favorite, lifelong memory for us. Thank you.”
